229. I WANT TO BE BLESSED!
(The Abundant Life Series – Batch 2)
You want the blessing but do you want the Christ?
Let me put it another way: Do you want the Christ more than you want the blessing? You want to be blessed but what about the Blesser? Where is he on your scale of priorities?
Be not deceived. God is not mocked. Jesus Christ is the foundation of every thing good you want to acquire in this world. You can’t have a successful and worthwhile love relationship, without genuinely repenting of all of your sins and asking Jesus Christ, who created you, into your heart as Lord and Saviour. If you have already done that, then he must be placed first. HE is The Beginning of new beginnings, so if you do not start by making things right with him, you are wasting your time and all of your efforts to get ahead will be counterproductive.
Jesus is THE SOURCE, THE SAVIOUR and THE START of every good thing you dream of achieving. He is the very FOUNDATION upon which you must start building and the FOUNTAIN of life, out of which every good thing flows.
Colossians 2:9 states,“For in him dwelleth ALL the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
Why not BELIEVE his testimony that he rose from the dead and ask him to come into your heart and life today? Why not CONFESS with your mouth that he is Lord and ask him for forgiveness for all of your sins, accepting his invitation to take over your life? You will not regret it. For, it is in him that you live, move and have your very being (Acts 17:28).
“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell.” (Colossians 1:16-19)
The long and short of it all is that, as the one that created you and brought you into this world, Jesus knows what is best for you and is wiser than your best judgment.
SUCCESS in every area, begins with Him.
