If you are courting, dating, engaged, eyeing someone or hope to one day be in a relationship and successfully married, this Section is for you!

In addition to the ‘SINGLE WOMEN’ Series of Articles under the ‘SINGLE Daughters of God’ Section, the purpose of the ‘COURTING OR ENGAGED Daughters of God’ page is to get women and young ladies currently in relationships, engagements or contemplating relationships and marriage:
(1) To understand the significance and beauty of relationships and the honourableness of marriage, as God intended;
(2) To remember their worth as women, as a human being and (for those who are saved), as a child of the King;
(3) To obtain guidance in making the right decision as to who to choose as a boyfriend and a spouse;
(4) To reconsider and reassess the quality of their relationship and/or engagement, whether this means to prayerfully end things, postpone things, continue things or seek counselling;
(5) To have fun and share their excitement for the future if the man with whom they are in a relationship is a quality gentleman;
(6) To stop sitting around idly doing nothing for the Lord, waiting until a husband comes, if they claim to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour;
(7) To come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal and indwelling Saviour if not yet saved or for those who are already Believers, to return from their backslidden condition, if they have strayed.
Apart from the specific objectives identified above, the general purpose of the Section is to firstly CELEBRATE IN STYLE with those who have been found by someone special or are about to get married. CONGRATULATIONS by the way, to those women! Secondly, it aims to bring glory to God by giving those who are courting, dating, engaged or are still single but are hopefully, wives in waiting, the tools they will need to ensure that they build upon a STRONG biblical foundation, from the very beginning of the relationship, to the Wedding day and into the marriage.
This Page is very much MARRIAGE-MINDED because God is marriage-minded. If you are Courting/ Dating or are interested in a guy, the end goal should always be (provided everything goes well), MARRIAGE. We therefore don’t do ‘shacking up’ on this Page, we don’t believe in ‘common law wife and relationships’ or ‘sex before marriage‘ because the God we serve and love, the only true God there is and the one who created you and me, denounces and prohibits these sinful practices. There are no blessings in these arrangements, only curses. As women that know our worth, we know that if it is God’s will for us to enter into love relationships, we were created to be somebody’s WIFE, not a ‘baby mama’ or someone that gives out wife benefits without first being taken down the aisle. We are deserving of that ring!
Even if you have made mistakes in life but have since come to your senses, you can still become someone’s wife, by the grace of almighty God, provided it is within His will. You just need to press into the Lord’s presence (in which there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11), submit to his plan for your life, allow him to renew your thinking and make sure you don’t make the same mistakes again.
It is my desire (provided it is the will of God for them to marry), to see all of God’s Daughters align themselves with quality men who God himself has ordained for their lives and with whom they can build, not just a happy and successful family and home but an effective Ministry for Christ.
I want the picture of the type of love relationship that they could have with Jesus in the centre, to be so vivid and so incredibly beautiful, that they cannot possibly bring themselves to settle for anything less. My own personal motto has been, “I don’t just want a marriage. I want a POWERHOUSE for Christ” and if you are a Christian, this should be your goal as well. Of course, this means that you cannot compromise and you must wait, until God is ready to put you into a relationship of HIS making. This may take longer than you hope or anticipate but I believe that it will all be worth it in the end.
