58. WHERE IS YOUR TRUST AT?

Do you know…
Some trust in HORSES, some in CHARIOTS
others in their JOBS or in their SPOUSES,
their LOOKS or in their BANK ACCOUNT,
their POSITION in society or their FAMILY STATUS,
their HOUSES, their LANDS,
their CARS or their JEWELLERY,
the GOVERNMENT, their EMPLOYERS,
their RACE or their COUNTRY,
their INTELLIGENCE, their QUALIFICATIONS,
their GOODNESS or their POPULARITY,
their YOUTH or their HEALTH,
their CHILDREN or their HAPPINESS.
Let it be known…
That I trust in ONE and ONE alone:
The ONE who made heaven and earth;
The ONE who died for me and my sins and arose from the dead on the third day.
His name is JESUS.
“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.” (Ps. 20:7)
