32. I WILL TESTIFY – GOD FLIPPED IT!

(The Called To Be A Wife Series – Batch 2)

On 22nd May, 2017, as a single woman, I wrote:

I’ve come to be known as the girl that nothing really happens for, the girl that is always talking about the goodness of God but that nothing really good happens for.

Day after day, month after month, year after year, God was working so very hard in my life but because people did not see the fruit of it, I was considered to be the girl always talking about the awesomeness and power of God but in whose life, the world saw nothing really good happening.

And I said in words to this effect, “Lord, I’m talking about your greatness but no one seems to be really listening because they are not seeing what you are doing in my life. Some will not believe unless you work signs and wonders, unless you take me, considered to be dead by many and bring me back to life.”

And in the midst of my unchanging season, I continue to believe God. I continue to hope against all odds because I am CONVINCED that one touch from Jesus is all I need to change the circumstances in my life.

Through my trials, tests, chastenings and tribulations, I read what he did for Jairus’ daughter and I read how he raised Lazarus back to life, even after four days of being dead.

I believe that that same God that reversed the rotting process, could turn things around for the better, for his GLORY, in my little, seemingly insignificant life.

Yes, I am the girl that seemingly, nothing really good happens for…but there comes a time for SOWING seed and a time for REAPING a harvest and once you hold on to your faith in Jesus during your desert, wilderness and sterile experiences, what you sow in tears, you will be bound to reap in joy (Psalm126:5-6). God takes his time but I KNOW that he DOES come.

Yes, I am the girl that seemingly, nothing really good happens for…until Jesus decides to intervene, flip my script, give me a new chapter and take me into a new season. I have always known and still know now that I could never do great exploits without him. I could never make things happen in my life without his Spirit helping me along.

When he changes my season, when he flips my script as only he can do, I will testify that it was JESUS CHRIST that made the difference in my life. Nobody else.

My hallelujah will therefore belong to absolutely nobody else but HIM.

“PRAISE ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord. BLESSED be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised. The Lord is high above all nations, and his GLORY above the heavens. He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.” (Psalm 113 KJV)
