220. REMOVE THAT MASK – LET THEM SEE YOUR BROKENNESS
(The Faith Forum Series – Batch 3)
If people see you always in control, having it all together at all times (a pretence which you work hard to keep up), how are they going to see what Jesus has done in your life?
You need to decrease so that He can increase and sometimes, that means allowing people to see you broken, down, weak and overwhelmed, so that when JESUS steps in and calms your storm, every eye that beholds will KNOW beyond any doubt, that it was Jesus that rose you up again from the ‘deadness’ and hopelessness of your situation.
That way, HE gets ALL the glory because your life screams: “IT WAS HE THAT DID IT, ALL OF IT. NOT ME. It was HE that gave the promotion, HE that sent my spouse, HE that turned the trajectory of my whole life. It was Jesus.”
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, THAT THE POWER OF CHRIST MAY REST UPON ME.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
