210. PRAISE HIM ALL THE DAY LONG
(The Faith Forum Series – Batch 3)
You’re out of a job and no one seems to want to hire you.
Is he still God? If so, then praise him.
You’ve sent out endless job applications and the majority of employers have not even responded.
Is he still God? If so, then praise him.
You have not a cent and have even had days when you went without anything to eat.
Is he still God? If so, then praise him.
You long for work so you can earn a salary again. You’ve prayed and you’ve prayed, yet there is this prolonged silence.
Is he still God? If so, then praise him.
The guy you thought was HIS will, you suddenly heard he’s getting married.
Is he still God? If so, then praise him.
You’re getting older and yet no quality husband seems near on the horizon.
Is he still God? If so, then praise him.
Church brothers and sisters and some of those close to you are the ones that have been hurting you.
Is he still God? If so, then praise him.
You’re tired, feel worthless and have probably been badmouthed by every Tom and Jill.
Is he still God? If so, then praise him.
There are days you get a bit scared because you are clearly in a world that does not want you.
Is he still God? If so, then praise him.
You’ve been rejected so many times by so many people, that it has become what you are used to.
Is he still God? If so, then that is all that matters. Praise him.

Dear Reader,
If you are a Christian and going through a rough patch or a dry season in your life (I did for four long years!), check out the song UNBROKEN PRAISE by Matt Redman on YouTube. Don’t be like the Israelites. Praise God no matter how long you are in the wilderness.
