195. WHEN GOD PROMISES TO WRITE-ON A WRITE-OFF

(The Faith Forum Series – Batch 3)

It is hard when you’re fighting in life and those closest to you, look at you like if you’re crazy, like nothing good is ever going to come out of you or what you’re doing and that you’re never going to amount to anything.

During those times, when you realize that nobody believes in your vision, cares for your soul and you have no emotional support, you are tempted to believe them and to give up on what you’ve been fighting for, for years. But hold on.

Ask God for strength. Remember all that he has done for you so far and all that you have been through together. Keep your eyes on him and trust him to continue to see you through.

You’ve come too far to turn back now. They don’t know your whole story and all that you’ve been through and what God has been doing all these years in your life but He does.

Hold on. Sometimes people doubt when the bricks are being laid but when they see the completed building in all its glory, it is only then that they begin to believe, that HE was doing a magnificent work in you all along.

I know that people can be disheartening and make you want to throw in the towel but keep building in silence, even if you have to do so in this season, alone. By the grace of God, when you’re done, the finished product will speak loudly for itself.

For, when God promises to change your season as he did with the Israelites, it is a sure promise, no matter how you feel, what your current situation looks like, how long it has been that way, how weak and tired you are, how little people think of you and who does not support you.

Everybody may have written you off and even consider you dead but it is with the write-offs that God loves to write-on for his GLORY. It is with the dead, that he loves to demonstrate his RESURRECTION POWER.

Whatever he said, WAIT for it. Don’t ever stop believing what he told you he would do. For it shall surely come to pass in HIS appointed time.

• “For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater: So SHALL my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it SHALL NOT return unto me void but it shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye SHALL go out with joy and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills SHALL break forth before you into singing and all the trees of the field SHALL clap their hands. Instead of the thorn SHALL come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier SHALL come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign, that SHALL NOT be be cut off.”

ADDENDUM

This Article was written a a point in my life where I felt like nobody believed in my vision and that I was written off and scoffed at by almost everybody, even some in my own family. BUT GOD!
