337. THE LORD PLACED ME
(The Faith Forum Series – Batch 13)
In consideration today of where THE LORD HAS PLACED ME, it wasn’t by merit, it wasn’t earned, it wasn’t by my ability. It was solely through his marvellous might, his grace, his mercy and his power.
Two months in to my new job which GOD PROMOTED ME to, I am still in awe. It hasn’t yet fully registered. Am I dreaming?
If I am still in shock that this has happened and so suddenly, I cannot imagine what the heathen, my enemies, the jealous-minded, the naysayers, the long-established mockers who love to ridicule me and those who don’t want to see me successful are going through.
This miracle THAT GOD WORKED without asking anyone’s permission and without giving anyone advance notice, will take time to process and register. May it humble us, may it bring us to our knees, may it keep us close to the cross and bowing at the feet of Jesus. May it cause us to repent where we know we have sinned and to truly look up to the omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent one.
HE has the last say in every story and I am honoured to have him as both the author of my life and the greatest storyteller. When HE is allowed in full faith to write your story because you trust him completely with the pen, there is suspense, drama, plot twists and so much that will blow your mind, page after page.
The best part of all is that no matter what, IT ENDS WELL.
